Keep the J10 bed. There’s a body shop by me with a square body chevy tow truck that has the stock bed, but bedsides have been lowered. Look at how some welding beds mimic the factory lines for some inspiration

I have a ‘70 J2000 Gladiator. Started watching your channel because of the J10 way back when. I could never find someone else with a similar truck doing the work I was interested in. I’m so happy seeing this truck revived. Can I snag that old custom rear bumper for the J10???

Hybrid j10/flat bed look at the pipe line welder rigs they section the bedsides and flat bed above best of both world.

I vote j10 bed but come up with a quick change system so you can do a flat bed later and go back and forth. Best of both.

As a J10 owner bed all the way. Part of that is being in Michigan most J truck beds are rusted out and lots of crappy flat bed trucks out there. A dully Jeep truck with a stockish looking bed would be sick.

keep that J10 bed, and then add a contractor type all metal topper. Think RSI smartcap with a more period correct look. It would add weight, but also would add the "service truck" look and function.

I would stick with the J10 bed too. Flatbeds are heavy, cumbersome and not as versatile as people think.

I had a 82 J10 awesome truck it was.. please dont get away from the J truck look.. they are few and in between… love the duely look…keep the bed..

Isn't this supposed to be an off road service vehicle? Flatbed will work so much better than the truck bed. A no brainer.

The matching j10 bed is sliiick. Boxing/reinforcing the bed sides on the inside may help it keep some shape if tagging an obstacle and protect any equipment you put in the rear for trail service
